Addressing a press conference at Press Club on the eve of his Public Rally at Indora ground on Monday evening , Adv. Ambedkar dismissed the congress , ' as the spent force with very little prospect in 2019 LOk Sabha Polls" He claimed that the real fight in Maharashtra would be between BJP and VBA inmost constituencies and predicted a doomsday scenario for Congress. He also cautioned his critics not to underestimated power of VBA which has united bachword, minorities and deprivedsections of society and they are going to dethrone two major political parties ,he predicted.
A big leader of NCP has withdrawn from Bhandara- Gondia Lok Sabha seat while an imported leader was offered candidature at Chandrapur LOK Sabha seat by Congress ,. " he state and condition of Congress Party is not good at Bhandara- godia, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli Lok Constituencies. When asked aboutn failed talks pf alliance between his VBA with Congress . Amdekar charged the BJP with "successfully blackmailing the Congress Party to go alone in ensuing Lok Saabha elections". The Congress has not formed allience with any new partener, he pointed out. On the issue of contesting election from Akola as well as solapur LOK Sabha seats , Ambdkar said that it was his political compulsion . 'After announcing my candidates in Western Maharastra got enormous public support , 'hi claimed. 'The VBA would polarise votes of BJP as Congress is nowhere in the picture,' he further added while rejecting the charge of former Chief Minister Pruthwiraj chavhan that VBA would divide secular votes to benefit BJP- Sena . He took pot-shots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused the Cenral Government of inept handling of Pulwama incident and ignoring timely intelligence inputs. Adv. Ambedka also firedsalvo at Union Minister Nitin Gadkari an sought to know as to why precautionary measures were not taken in time .
