The shopkeeper's rush started as the action started from 7 am. Roads, sidewalks were freed. On Wednesday, the streets of Monday Market were also taking a deep breath after several years. Due to the action, Gokulpeth and Jafarnagar are not filled with two vegetables.
A campaign launched by the Nagpur municipality was launched the next day against the shopkeepers, who were encroaching on the streets and sidewalks in the bazaars filling the city. Action was taken to delete the encroachment simultaneously in all ten zones. This is the first time in such a large amount of action in the Dahi Zone from 9am to 2am simultaneously. Following the action, many sidewalks and roads in the city were also opened for traffic.
On the first day, 19 illegal vegetable trades were raided. Most of these places were not visited by shopkeepers on Sunday. The sidewalk in the Cotton Market area had been open since morning. Years later, citizens were able to see the sidewalks open here. On the other hand, the markets in Gokulpet and Jaffarnagar are not full on Sunday. Though the shopkeepers are expressing anger over the encroaching traffic, the citizens are expressing happiness. In addition to the market places set aside for many weeks, the road becomes a very difficult barrier for citizens. In this regard, there were many complaints from Mayor Sandeep Joshi's Janata Durbar and public talk programs like 'Walk and Talk with Mayor', 'Breakfast with Mayor'. He directed the administration to launch a campaign to clear the encroachment and clear the sidewalk from January 1.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, after accelerating the campaign, accelerated the campaign. On Saturday and Sunday, he ordered a special campaign to remove encroachments between the weekly and regular paying markets. On the first day after the order, great action was taken. On the next day, anti-encroachment campaign was undertaken simultaneously in the markets under Dahi Zone and the encroachment was removed throughout the day.

Action taken in these markets

On Sunday, a total of eight markets were executed in all ten zones. These include Matan Market in Shamla Chowk, Shami Layout, Orange Street Market, Ring Road, Shatabdi Chowk (Beltrodi Road), Cotton Market Naka no. 13, Trishran Chowk, Manishnagar T-Point Railway Crossing, Orange Market, Nataraja Talkies, Azmshah Chowk, Satranjipura Chowk, Badkas Chowk, Panchpavali, Jagannath on Wednesday, Jade Chowk, Kabirnagar, Pili River, Kamathi Road, Gol Bazar, Tuesday Market, Tuesday. The markets near the zone included these markets.

The seized belongings escaped

During the course of action taken under the zone on Tuesday, the seized items were dumped in the zone office premises. The office was closed on Sunday, though the encroaching shopkeeper besieged the zone office and looted the seized goods.


नागपूर:  संजय पाटील: शहरातील अवैध भाजीबाजारांवर दुसऱ्या दिवशीही कारवाईचा मोठा गदारोळ झाला. अनेक ठिकाणी पथक व दुकानदारांमध्ये वादावादी झाली. सकाळी ७ वाजतापासूनच कारवाईला सुरुवात झाल्याने दुकानदारांची धावपळ उडाली. रस्ते, फूटपाथ मोकळे करण्यात आले. बुधवार, सोमवार बाजारातील रस्तेही अनेक वर्षांनंतर मोकळा श्वास घेत होते. कारवाईमुळे गोकुळपेठ व जाफरनगर हे दोन भाजीबाजार भरलेच नाहीत.
शहरात भरणाऱ्या बाजारांमध्ये रस्त्यावर आणि फूटपाथवर बसून अतिक्रमण करणाऱ्या, वाहतुकीस अडथळा निर्माण करणाऱ्या दुकानदारांविरुद्ध नागपूर महापालिकेने सुरू केलेली मोहीम दुसऱ्या दिवशीही राबविण्यात आली. दहाही झोनमध्ये एकाचवेळी अतिक्रमण हटविण्याची कारवाई करण्यात आली. सकाळी ७ वाजेपासून एकाचवेळी दहाही झोनमध्ये इतक्या मोठ्या प्रमाणात कारवाई होण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ आहे. कारवाईनंतर शहरातील अनेक फूटपाथ व रस्तेही वाहतुकीसाठी मोकळे झाले.
पहिल्या दिवशी 19 अवैध भाजीबाजारांवर कारवाई झाली होती. यातील बहुतांश ठिकाणी रविवारी दुकानदार आलेच नाहीत. कॉटन मार्केट परिसरातील फूटपाथ सकाळपासून मोकळा झाला होता. अनेक वर्षांनंतर नागरिकांना येथील फूटपाथ मोकळे बघता आले. दुसरीकडे, गोकुळपेठ आणि जाफरनगरमध्ये लागणारे बाजार रविवारी भरलेच नाहीत. अतिक्रमण करून वाहतुकीमध्ये अडथळा निर्माण करणाऱ्या दुकानदारांमध्ये संताप व्यक्त होत असला तरी नागरिकांमध्ये आनंद व्यक्त होत आहे. अनेक आठवडी बाजार निर्धारित केलेल्या जागांव्यतिरिक्त रस्त्यावर लागत असल्याने नागरिकांना वाहतुकीसाठी बराच अडथळा निर्माण होतो. यासंदर्भात महापौर संदीप जोशी यांच्या जनता दरबार आणि 'वॉक ॲण्ड टॉक विथ मेयर', 'ब्रेकफास्ट विथ मेयर' अशा लोकसंवाद कार्यक्रमातून बऱ्याच तक्रारी आल्या होत्या. १ जानेवारीपासून अतिक्रमण हटविण्याची आणि फूटपाथ मोकळे करण्याची मोहीम हाती घेण्याचे निर्देश त्यांनी प्रशासनाला दिले होते.
दरम्यान, आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे रुजू झाल्यानंतर त्यांनी या मोहिमेला वेग दिला. शनिवार आणि रविवारी आठवडी बाजारातील तसेच नियमित भरणाऱ्या बाजारांमधील अतिक्रमण काढण्याची विशेष मोहीम हाती घेण्याचे आदेश त्यांनी दिले. आदेशानंतर पहिल्याच दिवशी मोठी कारवाई करण्यात आली. दुसऱ्या दिवशी दहाही झोनअंतर्गत असलेल्या बाजारांमध्ये एकाचवेळी अतिक्रमणविरोधी मोहीम हाती घेण्यात आली आणि दिवसभरात अतिक्रमण हटवून रस्ते वाहतुकीसाठी मोकळे करण्यात आले.

या बाजारांमध्ये झाली कारवाई

रविवारी दहाही झोनमधील एकूण २२ बाजारांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली. यामध्ये खामला चौकातील मटण मार्केट, शामी लेआउट, ऑरेंजस्ट्रीटलगतचा बाजार, रिंग रोड, शताब्दी चौक (बेलतरोडी रोड), कॉटन मार्केट नाका नं. १३, त्रिशरण चौक, मनीषनगर टी-पॉइंट रेल्वे क्रॉसिंग, संत्रा मार्केट, नटराज टॉकीज, अझमशहा चौक, सतरंजीपुरा चौक, बडकस चौक, पाचपावली, जागनाथ बुधवारी, झाडे चौक, कबीरनगर, पिली नदी, कामठी रोड, गोल बाजार, मंगळवारी बाजार, मंगळवारी झोनजवळील बाजार या बाजारांचा समावेश होता.

जप्त केलेले सामान पळविले

मंगळवारी झोनअंतर्गत शनिवारी करण्यात आलेल्या कारवाईदरम्यान जप्त केलेले सामान झोन कार्यालयाच्या प्रांगणात टाकण्यात आले होते. रविवारी कार्यालय बंद होते, तरीही अतिक्रमणधारक दुकानदारांनी झोन कार्यालयाला घेराव केला आणि जप्त केलेले सामान पळवून नेले.
