Bacchu Kadu’s sting operation in Akola’s containment zone : Sanjay Patil

Sanjay Patil : Akola : 15-May-2020 : The District Guardian Minister Bacchu Kadu carried out a sting operation of his own in Akola’s Baidpura area on Thursday to check if the lockdown and containment rules were being followed or not. Most of coronavirus positive patients of Akola hail from Baidpura or have a connection. The area has been declared containment zone by administration. However, Kadu had received complaints that people were moving freely in and out of the area and therefore, the Guardian Minister decided to verify this himself.

 

Kadu reached Baidpura’s border on a motorcycle like any other citizen on Thursday morning and tried to enter the area. However, he was taken to task by the policeman on duty at the entrance to Baidpura and asked sternly to return home. The cop did not realise that it was the Guardian Minister. Even after much persuasion, the cop stuck to his guns and prevented Kadu from entering the area.

 

Kadu later patted the back of the cop and the Police Department for the strict vigil and also called for ensuring that it remains so in future as well. Later, Kadu also caught a gutkha seller and fined Rs 1 lakh to a contractor at District Women’s Hospital on seeing garbage in the hospital premises. Kadu also fined a policeman found talking on mobile phone while on duty.
